From a passion for fashion…
Led by wedding dress designer Nicole Cook, Elise Designs is built on 15 years’ experience and a passion for unique wedding dress design. After leaving university with a BA in Fashion and Apparel Design, Nicole started her career teaching students in South Yorkshire. Her natural talent was quickly spotted by the owner of a custom-made bridal wear company, who offered Nicole the chance to run a wedding dress shop in Cheshire.
…To a unique boutique
As Nicole’s skills and experience flourished, she knew it was time to go it alone and take her dream even further. It was then that she set up Elise Designs in the historic city of York. As well as appealing to hundreds of tourists, the city is also a hugely popular wedding destination and provides the ideal location for a bespoke wedding dress service.

At Elise Designs, we have our very own collection of customisable dresses that can be remade to suit your body type. These range in price, starting from just £1,000. Alternatively, we can create a design completely from scratch, incorporating elements from different dresses. Regardless of which design you choose, every Elise dress is made to measure and 100% manufactured by our in-house team.
